What are the entry requirements?
Women aged 16-30 years of age from across the North East of England can enter, there are no restrictions on marital status or if you are with or without children.

Do I need to have competed in a pageant or modelling contest before?
We pride Top Model on being a competition for everyone. Each year we have a mix of finalists, who have either competed or have never competed before. If you have never taken part in a competition of this nature, we have a team on hand to help and guide you throughout the competition as well as catwalk training before the final.

What does the competition entail?
All finalists receive a Finalist Pack once they have confirmed their place in the competition, this pack provides all the information you need to know as well as tips and helpful advice!
As a competition, we pride ourselves on our charity work, having raised thousands of pounds for a number of charities over the years. For 2023 all finalists are tasked with fundraising for Zoe's Place Baby Hospice, Middlesbrough. There is no minimum or maximum amount that a finalist should raise, every little helps! On the night of the final there are four different catwalk rounds, as well as the overall title to be won (Top Model North East 2023)  there are also additional Awards, such as the Photogenic Award, People's Choice Award and Top Model of Charity.

What should I expect on the day of the final?
Finalists will arrive at the venue (The Grand Hotel, Sunderland) at 09:30am. We start rehearsals until around 3pm, finalists then have until 5:30pm to get ready. Doors open to guests at 5:30pm, with the first catwalk round at 6:30pm. The show will end around 10:30pm with an after- party till 12am.
